Church  leadership

Church leadership is a calling to servant-based ministries.
The Congregational Nominating Committee (CNC) is tasked to discern who in our congregation are specifically gifted and graced to serve in various positions of ordained leadership. Our church seeks members of the congregation for Elders, Deacons, and the Congregational Nominating Committee (CNC). You may nominate yourself or another church member in the contact form below, to serve as an Elder, Deacon, or CNC member.

Elders of the Church

Members of the Church (Governing Body of the Church)

  • Leadership for congregational care, worship & outreach
  • Nurture ministry for all ages
  • Provide the administrative & spiritual oversight of the congregation
  • Is responsible for the budget process as well as providing management of the church finances, investments, maintenance, & security of the church
  • Elected annually for a 3 year term

Deacons of the Church

Members of the Board of Deacons

  • Prays with others
  • Displays God’s love through acts of kindness
  • Attending to needs of church family
  • Shares the love of Jesus Christ through outreach
  • Provides loving support for congregational members & fosters Christian relationships with those needing long term care
  • Elected annually for a 3 year term

Nominating Committee (CNC)

  • Serve for a one-year term.
  • Seek nominations from the congregation.
  • Responsible & accountable directly to the congregation.
  • Propose the slate of officers to be voted on by the congregation at a called meeting in the fall.
