Worship is the central act of the people of God. And so it is at First Presbyterian Church, where the Word of God is central to our worship services. We have worship services at 8:30 AM & 11:00 AM on Sunday mornings. During the Summer we have one service at 10:00 AM. Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. Baptisms are conducted during the worship services where the entire congregation participates. All of our Sunday worship services feature a weekly Time For Children, when our youngest worshipers come forward and sit on the steps with the pastor for a learning experience targeted specifically for them. In addition to our regular Sunday services, we have worship services on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunrise, Wednesday evenings during the Lenten Season, a Hanging of the Greens service on Sunday evening at the beginning of Advent, and three Christmas Eve services.
