Angel Tree Christmas
No more delightful opportunity exists to see the true light of Christmas than when you share the love of Jesus and their parent in prison with a child hungry for both. Shoppers, callers, sorters, hosts and deliverers are all called on to bring the reality of Christ to children of prisoners during the Christmas season.

Angel Tree Summer Camp
Each summer we sponsor children of prisoners
to their own special summer camp in which the romp & play with other kids like themselves all while seeing and hearing the gospel of Christ. Then we celebrate with them the rich time they had.

Prisoner Visitation
Every Friday morning and Tuesday evening members of our church take the message of hope and meaning in Jesus Christ to men and women in the Broward County Jails. Take this opportunity to put your faith on the line and you will never see it the same again.

Family Embraced
Family Embraced is a new initiative that was begun in September, 2011. First Pres's Jail Ministry partnered with Mt. Bethel Baptist and the Assembly of God Church to provide a much needed support group for caregivers of prison inmates and their children. On the first Thursday of each month we gather in the community room at Roosevelt Gardens Park in Sunrise which is in the middle of "our" zip code 33311 — which is how our Angel Tree children are designated. A simple supper is served and then we meet in our small groups for adults (male and female separate), teens, children and child care is provided. We are getting to know our families better and a wonderful spirit of cooperation exists between the volunteers from the three churches. The participants are very grateful for this opportunity designed especially for them.
