church-wide Advent Program
What comes to mind when you think of Christmas? It can seem odd that the origin of such a glittering holiday is in the birth of a child long ago, whose arrival had none of the comforts and pleasures we connect with Christmas today. That child, born in a cattle stall over two thousand years ago, came to us and grew into a person like no other in history. Each Christmas season with all its fanfare gives us an opening to remember the strange and wonderful time when light split the night and God became one of us. Join the remembrance at the church-wide Advent Program on Sunday December 7th, 14th and 21st at 9:30 a.m. in Chapel In The Sky. RSVP by Monday, December 1, 2014 with Mona Petersen at (954) 598-9345 or MonaP@firstpres.cc.

Adult Education Ministry classes and small group studies that meet on Sunday will resume in January.
