Deacon's Ministry

Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.
GALATIANS 6:2

The Deacon Ministry is carried out by 42 ordained women and men to fulfill many of the congregational care needs of the church.

Through them our homebound members are visited regularly, Easter Lilies and Christmas Poinsettias are delivered to those who recently experienced hospitalization or loss, care cards are sent to those in hospitals, and blood drives are organized for the needs of the community. In addition the deacons are responsible for the preparation of the communion elements and for assisting in greeting our visitors to worship.
